Can you confirm the price I will pay for my report?

The standard list price for a report is noted alongside the report title on our website. The prices here are the latest, up-to-date prices. Click here for more information and a summary of costs.

I need urgent access to the research, what is the quickest way to order?
Purchasing a report by credit card is by far the quickest way to ensure swift access to our content. This method of payment means you can access our reports immediately after purchase. Alternatively you can email marketing@globalbusinessinsights.com and we will get back to you with details on how to complete your purchase as soon as we can.

Can you tell me more about ordering by fax?
If you are unable to purchase by credit card, please download and complete our fax order form and we will process your order as soon as possible.
If you are based in the UK, send your fax to 020 7900 6688 . If you are based outside the UK you need to dial the following, 0044 20 7900 6688. If you are still experiencing problems, please try our second fax line +44 20 7551 9089.
Alternatively, you can scan your completed fax order form, and send it to us as an email attachment to marketing@globalbusinessinsights.com

How can I find out more about the content of a report?
Tables of contents are available for all our publications and can be downloaded free of charge. Tables of contents provide a detailed overview of the scope of the report including geographic coverage, length, a detailed breakdown of the content and details about the author.

Report Information brochures. There are brochures for most of our reports providing a comprehensive overview of the report, they are designed to give you insight into different aspects of the publication to help you make your purchase decision. Each report’s brochure will cover the following:

  • Key findings
  • Unique features and benefits
  • Sample page from the report
  • Abridged table of contents

How long will it take for the delivery of the report in electronic format?
If you order by fax, email or phone, the report will generally be made available to you the same day, although please allow two full working days.

If you order by credit card the report is available for download immediately, regardless of location. Click here for further information on purchasing by credit card.

How long before long before I get a hardcopy version of the report?
If you wish to receive a hardcopy version, you must specify this when ordering the report. If you have ordered a report by credit card and you wish to obtain a hardcopy version, please contact us.
Hardcopy reports are generally dispatched within 5 working days of receipt of order (order processing and printing). Depending on location, public holidays, local postal efficiency etc your report should arrive a few days after this. Please note, we charge more for hardcopy versions of our reports as we need to cover costs of printing, handling and postage. Please click here for more details.

What payment terms do you offer?

What methods of payment can I use?
You can pay by invoice, cheque, BACs transfer or credit card (Visa, Amex, or Master card. Online or over the phone). With the exception of payments made by credit card we will need your signature and company VAT number (please click here for more information about VAT numbers)

Buying a report by credit card


How do I purchase a report online using a credit card?
If you have already registered with us then log in and click on ‘buy with credit card’. If you haven't, you’ll need to register your details to create an account, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete your purchase.

How much will be debited from my credit card?
Your credit card or debit card will be debited by the list price (prices as it appears on the website + VAT). The exact amount to be deducted will be displayed on screen (in red) before the purchase is completed.

How will I receive my report?
Your report will be immediately available for download after purchasing. After purchasing you will be redirected to your client homepage where the report is available in PDF format. You can log onto your account at anytime (from any PC with internet access) and access this report.

Who can access purchases made by credit card?
By purchasing a report by credit card you agree to be bound by our standard terms and conditions of our single user electronic licence agreement. Click here to find out how to upgrade your licence to include more than one user.

How Secure are my details?
All credit card transactions are handled via a secure, dedicated server using 128-bit encryption technology to ensure that your details remain protected. We do not store any of your card details on our servers.

There was an error message/my card was rejected.
Our payment systems may not accept your choice of credit card, or may not accept it for the currency you are attempting to purchase a report in. Please consult the list below for more detail. To correct this issue: When you registered you will have selected a currency, to change this please click on 'administration' (on the left-hand-side navigational bar) from here select 'Change account details', choose a currency that will accept your type of credit card, and hit save. Navigate back to the report you wish to purchase, and select 'buy by credit card.

How do I get a receipt for my purchase?.
If you require a receipt or invoice for your records or for accounting purposes please click here detailing your request. All credit card invoices are processed and dispatched by our account department at the end of each month. Unfortunately this may lead to a delay in you receiving your receipt/invoice.

How much do Business Insights reports cost?
Our pricing structure is as follows. These are the regular, list prices for our reports and are for electronic, single user access. Occasionally we may offer discounts and free reports in our promotional materials, where prices listed may be less than those shown below. However each offer is available only for a limited time period and is subject to terms and conditions. Click here for further information on special offers and discounts.

Can I pay in another currency?
We accept payment in Euros, US$ and GB£. By registering an account on the website you can also purchase your research by credit card in any of the currencies listed above.

Why do I need to include my company's VAT number?
For us to be able to process your order, without you or your organisation incurring additional tax liability, we need to know your VAT (BTW / MOMS / MWST / IVA / FPA) number if you are ordering within the EU. Your accounts department will be able to tell you what this number is.

Promotions and complimentary content

 
I participated in a survey but I can't download my free executive summary?
Executive summaries are available for immediate download upon completion of a survey. If you are having problems accessing or downloading this content please email the editor listed in the correspondence. They will organise an alternative delivery method once completion of survey is verified.

Free report offers
Occasionally we offer a free report when you buy one or more publications at full price. You can use your credit card to purchase the full priced publication, the free content will then be added to your online account as soon as the order is processed (1-2 working days). If a report is offered at a discounted price, then we will refund the discount amount back onto your card. Please contact marketing@globalbusinessinsights.com if you have any questions.

I am a student. Can I get a discount on a publication I’m interested I?
We regret that due to the high overheads involved in publishing reports, we are unable to offer large discounts to students. Your academic institution may already have access to all or some of our content. If it does not, and you feel that it could benefit from the information produced by Business Insights, please contact your library manager, and/or email info@researchforlibraries.com

The deadline on the offer has expired, am I still eligible for a discount?
We appreciate that internal processes and other mitigating factors will not always allow you to send us your order before the offer deadline date. For this reason we may still be able to you a discount. Please email marketing@globalbusinessinsights.com to find out more, and we will look into your request immediately.

I have ordered a report from a pre-publication offer. How long before I can expect delivery of this report?
The report will be made available to you upon its publication. This is usually around a fortnight after you received the offer/placed the offer.
